Hello and welcome. I hope you are well?
Todays blog is featuring our great Background Stamps, featured on pages 116 and 117 of the annual catalogue. I find sometimes it can be difficult to know what to create with them.
I have used one simple design and shown different colourways and stamp sets. I hope it helps inspire you ?
This card features the Stacked Stone background. I used the Stamparatus to stamp in Balmy Blue. I then used the square from Watercolour Shapes. You could also use a block to create a similar look.
The Blackberry Bliss stamping is from Splendid Thoughts. I love this colour combination, do you?
For this card I used our yellow/orange inks, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie. I used the circles from Watercolour Shapes as it reflects the spiral of the Spiral Dye background stamp.
Last but by no means least I Used Petal Pink for the Drybrush background stamp and then Fresh Freesia and Orchid Oasis again for the squares from Watercolour Shapes.
Each of the cards also has a splatter background created with a Stamp Write Marker and a bone folder ??
Which is your favourite card?
