This week we celebrated International Woman’s Day. Did it pass you by or did you acknowledge it? This weeks blog features Stampin’ Ups Hey Girlfriend stamp set, as every woman should be celebrated (men too of course but this weeks focus is the ladies)
I created these cards to show of Stampin Ups Hey Girlfriends stamp set. I used blends pens to bring the ladies to life. The patterned papers are Stampin Up Peony Garden on the card above, remember these beautiful papers will retire on 3rd May. I added red for a flash of colour amongst the greys.
Do you remembers RaRa skirts, because I do, I couldn’t resist adding a layer to the skirt of another card! For you to recreate this coloure the full stamped skirt on the card. Then stamp further skirts on the patterned papers or coloured cardstock, cut them and layer them as I have below . Its a fun way to add dimension to a card.
The final card I paired with the fun Ice Cream Corner papers from Stampin Up, I cut out some extra ice lollies for extra decoration and focused on the Old Olive and So Saffron shades in the blend pens. Finished off with a few Champagne rhinestones for a bit of bling.
