Hello, thanks for reading my blog, did the title make you wonder? Do you have a favourite, one you can’t manage without?

For me it would be coffee! My favourite Nescafe Alta Rica.

I used Early Expresso, Cinnamon Cider, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake. This card used the stamp set only with a sentiment inside from Happiest of Birthdays. I think it’s a great card to add a voucher from a coffee shop to.

Cocktails are a must for me on a birthday! My favourite cocktail is an Aperol Spritz. What’s yours? I have actually recently found an excellent non alcoholic version which is amazing!

Just need to find a good no alcohol prosecco and a lunchtime drink will take on a new meaning, if you can recommend one comment please.

This card focusses on So Saffron and the hoop is from Dandy Laser cut papers (retiring June 2021) and the paper from Fine Art Floral (retiring June 2021)

This Ombre effect is so impressive, and is quite easy with a blending brush or sponge dauber. I created a video which is available if you click into the image above.

By cutting one piece of cardstock to the size you require for your inner (10×14.45 in my case) and cut another piece smaller (9×13.45 in my case). These are then tacked together, I use removable tape, and the use your blending brush to bring the ink onto the two.

This card focusses on chocolate, coffee and cookies and the dies were used to cut them out. I Ombre’d the background with (top to bottom) Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider, Soft Suede and Early Expresso.

Champagne Rhinestones to add a bit of glitz.

Did you have enjoy these cards and the technique of the Ombre inside the card?
