As one of the many things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the ease of colour coordination, in 50 gorgeous colours. I don’t think any other company offers such a coordinated palette ?
Stampin’ Up! group the colours in families, Brights, Regals, Neutrals and Subtles. My blog series is following the rainbow that I store my inks and cardstock in.
This week I am showcasing Pumpkin Pie, a beautiful deep shade of orange that’s not just for Halloween ?
I must confess that Pumpkin Pie doesn’t get a whole lot of use in my crafting. Do you find you have colours like that? I am loving this blog series though to prompt me!

Blends pens in Light Pumpkin Pie and Dark Pumpkin Pie are perfect for Puffin detail, I have a separate blog showing the cards I made with Party Puffins.
Pumpkin Pie is in the Regals family. All Stampin’ Up colours come in ink and cardstock. They feature in a selection of Designer Series Papers, including the family.
The Regals family is below on the left and Pumpkin Pie is also featured in Watercolor Pencils too. There is also a blends pen.
A fab technique is to stamp in your colour and then highlight part of the image with blends pens in the same colour. A pumpkin pie sample below.
As we transition into the 2022-23 Annual catalogue some of the embellishments are changing. I will update this blog once they are live.
This is a calendar page for 2022, I have used Pumpkin Pie with So Saffron here to create an Ombre effect, once dried I then stamped a background stamp with versamark and used black embossing powder ?
This range of coordination make creating projects simpler, you really don’t have to worry about mismatched colours.
