Welcome to this weeks blog, I hope you are well?
As one of the many things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the ease of colour coordination, in 50 gorgeous colours.
I don’t think any other company offers such a coordinated palette ?
Stampin’ Up! group the colours in families, Brights, Regals, Neutrals and Subtles. My blog series is following the rainbow that I store my inks and cardstock in.
This week I am showcasing Old Olive, a beautiful Regal shade of Olive (surprise eh?) that coordinates with all Stampin Up!’s of course and is so useful!
All Stampin’ Up colours come in ink and cardstock. They feature in a selection of Designer Series Papers, including the family. Old Olive is in Stampin Write markers and blends pens. It also features in the watercolour pencils.
Look out for my upcoming blog about colouring and how to use each of our different pens/pencils.
The Regals family papers are on the left and on the right a card using an inking technique, a Christmas card ?. I know if seems early but you know whats coming? Our new July-Dec mini…. another blog to watch for ?
If you love these papers you will need to be quick, as they retire at the end of June. Pop to my recent blog with the retiring list to see what bargains you can bag.
Below right are leaves from the Pansy dies in Old Olive and Soft Sea Foam, you could use the two dies either way around to create a different leaf look.
Ribbon helps with coordination make creating projects simpler. This Old Olive and Sahara Sand combo pack is new to us. Little additions like this mean you really don’t have to worry about mismatched colours.
