Welcome to 2022 and my first blog of the New Year

As one of the many things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the ease of colour coordination, I thought I would create a blog series focussing on it ?

Whilst Stampin’ Up! group the colours in families, Brights, Regals, Neutrals and Subtles. In addition each year we get 5 In Colors that stay with us for 2 years. My blog series is following the rainbow that I store my inks and cardstock in.

So we today start with Poppy Parade ❤️

Poppy Parade is in the Brights family. All Stampin’ Up colours come in ink, cardstock and Stampin Write markers. Poppy Parade also appears in the Soft Pastels, the Ombre 12″ X 12″ (30.5 X 30.5 CM) Speciality Paper and Blends Pens

This range of coordination make creating projects simpler, you really don’t have to worry about mismatched colours.

Here are a few projects I have made and of course I had to use poppies

This card has the Ombre paper as the layer, I have also shown how with the blends pens the Rhinestone embellishments can be coloured to match your project. The splatter was created by using the thick end of a blend pen and a bone folder.

I have created a link through to all the Poppy Parade items here https://s.tamp.in/m6IMwc
