How to make gift boxes

Well, the end of May is nearly here already! I have some lovely plans for this UK Bank Holiday and hope you do too. It looks like the weather is playing ball for this one!

This blog is focussing on gift boxing, 3 styles, one using designer series paper only. All these projects use the Hand-Penned DSP.

The pyramid box is made with a piece of DSP made into a cylinder and glued at one end, the other end is held by clever clasps and is sealed the opposite way to the glued end! if this makes no sense you can watch my Facebook live by clicking into the image.

The Love You Always treat boxes arrive flat pack and easily put together. Decorate the top and sides. Add a pull tab, this ensures the recipient knows how to open the box. Add any and all embellishment you wish. I added the Metallic Mesh ribbon as I love it and it creates a beautiful finish. The final gift box this week is the Milk Carton, I tried to record 2 videos before the one linked – however in classic Marie style. Do as I say not as I do! Use a pencil to mark your punch holes. Watch and you will see what I mean, however I think its something you can follow along with.
