Hello and welcome to this weeks blogs. The new Stampin Up! Annual catalogue has been out for a few weeks, have you found your favourites yet?
This blog is featuring the Hues of Happiness papers, well actually only one of the sheets in reality! Just look at these colours 💕
For each card I used two of the shades of flowers. I used my fabulous Stampin Up! Snips to cut out the flowers.
The first card uses Stampin Up!s Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight. I used a blending brush and the same colours in ink.
I cut the circle in a post it note as a mask, Stampin Up! now have a fab sheet for this purpose, its an improvement as it is fully adhesive. I used removable tape around the edges of my post it note.
I love this “A paper hug from me” sentiment.
My second card uses Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape. These Glossy Dots are gorgeous in Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, xxx and Gorgeous Grape.
The sentiment is stamped in Gorgeous Grape, I love the tones in the blends I achieved here with the two shades! If I do say so myself! 🤣 The flowers flow over the edge and the card still fits in an envelope.
The card base is Fresh Freesia and the reverse of the paper I cut the flowers from is the background piece.
