How has your week been? I hope its treated you well. Party Puffins is one of the carry over sets in the annual catalogue that came out this week. If you would like a copy let me know.
For this card I used Stampin’ Up! Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Bumble Bee, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron. I cut pieces of cardstock to create, what my husband called a Dulux colour chart! The cheek!
I used Pumpkin Pie and Mango Melody Stampin’ Write markers to ink in the Puffins and add the background splatter. For the black I found Jet Black Stazonn better as I was colouring with water based pens. The sentiment backgrounds have added splatter too.
Which of these below is your favourite? They feature Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party 3 of our 5 new In Colors.
I used the Basic Borders dies to create the overlay piece of card. I mounted it on dimensionals to create depth.
For this card a clear block D was inked and stamped off to create the inked square. I added a Puffin with a fish to make it appear he was about to eat it. Happy Birthday in Jet Black Stazon and the addition of matte black dots finish the card off.
I love this In Color Glimmer Paper (159246)
Party Puffins is a fun stamp set in the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue, which of these is your favourite?
