This week I needed an engagement card and a birthday card, so I reached for Stampin Ups Pretty Perennials for both. The Happy is so versatile. I also chose to use the retiring Stampin Up In Colors, Roccoco Rose, Purple Posy, Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray and Terracotta Tile. They are available until 2nd May 2021.

To make the engagement card I used silver heat embossing powder on vellum. I then cut around the phrases, I focused on monochrome with Seaside Spray. The background paper is from the Sand and Sea designer series papers in the Stampin Up Mini catalogue.
The Birthday card featured the same set and Rocco Rose and Purple Posy. I used the Stampin Up Blend Brush to create a background, using both colours, I rather like the finished effect. The Happy and the birthday stamps were inked in memento once the background was completely dry.
