Hello and welcome to this blog showing my designs for a 2022 calendar.

The Stampin’ Up! Days to Remember stamp set is ace for birthday cards, I ring the recipients birthday. Sometimes I find male cards more challenging and this set makes it so much easier 😊

I have included a few tips at the end on using the set, one of the important things is to remember how many days each month has, and to wipe off days not required!

The base for calendar is a basic card in basic white thick, the I add a W shape piece of card to stop the card opening out and to keep the calendar stable. Drop me an email if you want a copy of the instructions. messymcreations@gmail.com

I ran a calendar class recently and the attendees are keeping the one they made on the day with notes on the back as a reminder of techniques. I find I do forget so many of the techniques I know so this is a fab reminder. 🤩

All these calendars can be recreated into a card front, I think July is possibly a favourite of mine! Is that wrong to pick a favourite? Let me know what your favourite month is from those shown here.

Each calendar from is 10cm x 14.4cm (half cm smaller than the base) The rings I bought from Amazon – I used 1cm diameter.

So tip time! The calendar stamp fits perfectly on a Stampin’ Up! D block which in turn is the perfect width to stamp onto a Stampin’ Up! ink pad (clever eh?)

The best way to easily work out the month is to choose how your days of the week run…. you have two options in the set.

Place the 1st of the month on the correct day and all other dates fall into place. REMEMBER always check if the month has a 31st and wipe the ink off before you stamp.
