Welcome to this weeks blog, featuring a great craft day I attended at the beginning of July. This event has been running for 5 years and is so inspiring 🙏🏼💕
The first class was with Tara of Tara Fowler Crafting. Gray Granite is an under utilised colour in my craft room. Its a beautiful warm gray shade, teaming it with Starry Sky was inspired!
Gilded Leafing is a gorgeous element to add to a card. The cardstock was torn and then Tombow glue was added before the Gilded Leafing 🥰
The Vellum background was stamped with Natures Prints in Gray Granite and Starry Sky, the cardbase is Gray Granite too, vellum gives a lovely hint of the colour behind.
Lynn Eaton ran my second class and wow wow wow! The Textured Chic papers are GORGEOUS! The variety of colours and the options for bling or non bling is perfect for so many projects.
We used the Season of Chic stamp set which has great fonts and some fab stamps. The wave stamp was so easy to create the rainbow of colours. The mesh die cut I can see me using ALOT!
My final class was with Jenny from Jemini Crafts, we created a One Sheet Wonder and made a full size card, 3 mini 3×3″ cards and some gift tags. The gift bag was decorated and is the perfect size for those 3×3″ cards 🤩
I barely even used the beautiful dsp we had in our packs.
These events are such good value and I have a lot more product to craft with.
