Happy Mothers Day to all mothers in the UK for Sunday.
Welcome to this weeks blog, I hope you are well? I am sharing my new hobby! Scrapbooking.
If you are anything like me you have lots of photos on your phone that rarely get seen. I joined a colleague recently on scrapbooking class and now I am hooked!
My first project is a mini album for my mum, during the lockdown in 2019 and when I wasn’t working full time we went on weekly walks.
This page was a frosty day walk! so I used shades of blue and had to include the current Waves of the Ocean Stampin Up papers (piece on left).
These were precious times to spend with mum and the photos have never been seen! My mum is 80 this year and its hard to know what to gifts to buy. So, for Mothers Day this year she is getting a mini scrapbook!
In contrast this was a sunny day walk 😎 All our walks were along the Grand Union canal, we can access this easily from our homes.
I used masks to create the dotted areas.
I did discover the process of scrapbooking is even messier than making cards 😎
I guess because I am working on 12×12 pages. Here is an example 🙄😂. I am hopeful in time this mess will improve as I learn about scrapbooking layouts.
