This week I received my Stampin’ Up! seasonal catalogue pre-order. As a result, you can look forward to seeing new products over the coming weeks 💖
Amongst my pre-order was Stampin’ Up!s Colour and Contour bundle from the annual catalogue. When I get a new set I do like to get it all out (yes, my desk gets messy) and play! I try not to look for inspiration anywhere unless I feel a creative block. So this blog is my first play with the set 🥰
From the simplest cards using only the stamp set to stepped up cards using the complete bundle the options are almost endless. Which colours to use is your biggest challenge!
The stamp set is DISTINKTIVE. This means the stamp has a varied opacity designed into it, meaning you get varied shading across the final image.
For these cards I used simple stamping and coordinating inks and cardstock in my favourite Blackberry Bliss along with Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia. Pick your favourites and let me know what they are in the comments x
The Fresh Freesia card has a smaller layer for the main images, so the Fresh Freesia cardstock is more visible, I stamped on the layer in Fresh Freesia ink. As you can tell, I do love a splodge stamp!
These stepped up cards use the dies, to use dies you do need a Stampin’ cut and emboss machine or similar. The die set has several larger dies for backgrounds, two for sentiments and two for the flower images. The final die is fab for cutting an edge…
My stepped up card also features the new Blackberry Beauty papers available from 3rd August. So that’s a sneak peak for you to enjoy!
